What is National Dine Out Day?
National Dine Out Day is a nationwide program that asks restaurants to participate in supporting the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. The fundraiser will take place on June 19, 2013. New Jersey’s First Lady, Mary Pat Christie chairs the Fund and is leading the efforts in the National Dine Out Day program. For more information, please visit http://www.nationaldineoutday.com/.

Why is Auntie Anne’s participating?
We’re extremely fortunate that Hurricane Sandy didn’t take the lives of any members of our Auntie Anne’s family. We did have several individuals who experienced the loss of electricity and flooding at their businesses and residences. While overall, Auntie Anne’s was able to bounce back there are many people who are still recovering. This is our opportunity to give back and help those in need.

How is Auntie Anne’s participating in the fundraising efforts?
Auntie Anne’s will donate a percentage of sales from June 19 to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. Individual stores may also choose to collect monetary donations via coin canisters positioned on their counters.
